Surveillance Video Analysis – Patient 06 ("Alexya")

Video Duration: 03h17min – REM cycle onset monitored at 01:43 AM.

THE viDeo shows patient 06 in induced Rest. EnvironmentAl conditions adjusted per protocol: total absence of external light, teMperature maintained at 19°C, whIte noiSe background (53 dB).

At 01:47 AM, the first signs of intense REM activity are noted. The eyelids twitch irregularly — faster than the normal pattern. EEG data confirms anomalies in the alpha/theta pattern: unstable waves, interspersed with high-frequency pulses similar to those observed in Session 019.

Relevant Segment – 01:52 AM to 01:59 AM:

The patient begins to murmur – incomprehensible at first. After audio processing, possible words identified: “I’m tiRed but I won’t givE up the fight!” the phrAse repeats at intervals, but never exactLy the same. The language is partially fragmented, as if the brain were trying to communicate with multiple layers at once.

Important: dUring this segmeNt, The surveILlance sYstem recOrds a slight visual interference. The camera appears to oscillate, bUt no mechanical failure WAs detected by the sensors KE. The distortion only occUrs during the moments of intense murmuring. P

At 01:58 AM, the patient suddenly sits up on the bed. Eyes still closed. She speaks directly to the camera, screaming with her eyes shut while facing the camera.

Abrupt video cut for 2 seconds. Upon resumption, the patient is lying down again, without signs of agitation. Heart rate normalized. EEG returns to pre-induction pattern.

Dave’s Considerations:

The overlap between reality and dream construction is becoming more volatile. Subjects no longer distinguish clearly between what is internal and what is imposed.

Experiment 06 has exceeded expected neural response limits. This confirms the hypothesis: the architecture of dreams can be shaped, but it also shapes the one who designs it.

Recommendations for next session:

  • Reduce initial exposure time.

  • Implement manual, non-automated safety locks on the video system.

  • Evaluate whether the presence of the observer influences the dream content. (Hypothesis: does the mere analysis alter the experiment?)
